@thehowtohippie, then that makes a lot of sense for mine. I run my finger across the scar and it stings.
@caitshaw5, @marinarose mine did due to the old piercing stretching. Idk how factual that is because some people keep theirs pierced through their pregnancy. Mine was ripped out about a year prior to my pregnancy, the scar stretched as my belly grew and that's by far where I had the most pain.
@thehowtohippie, I've had my belly button pierced. And I've had this same question. Why does it hurt because of that?
@caitshaw5, scar "tissue" or scared skin is one of the first things that will stretch with your growing belly, it lacks moisture to make it expand easily, and so the already damaged area will be the first to receive further damage. I have scars on my hips from a childhood accident, those were the first to stretch for me, the already there scars just stretched more due to being a damaged area pre pregnancy
