@bets, aw man I'm sorry to hear that! I know I was so scared when I found out like omg will I have issues an all that but so far so good. And yes I hear the 3rd trimester is a bumpy ride too so let's see I can be saying all this than later on I'll be complaining haha

I'm one of those women lol my pregnancy has been one hell of a ride! that's good yours has been smooth. Your almost there too. The third trimester hasn't been my friend at all lol but with my son my whole pregnancy was the best, so I'm sure you're will be that way.

Oh okay yea they did my std and hiv test and its all negative I wasn't worried about that lol I know where I be lol but yea the only thing I had was a uti in the beginning @bets other than that I have had a good pregnancy I haven't had any complications thank god I know some woman have so many issues and I thank god I haven't. Yea I know they said something to me about a bacterial infection they were explaining to me that could happen maybe that's the same thing your telling me but so far I haven't had it

it's a bacterial infection found in the vagina , they usually test it by using swabs. It can be passed on to the baby but not always. some women just carry that bacteria its not an STD. But not alot of women have it so don't worry.

I only go those the beginning of my pregnancy.

they also did blood work for three tests, I know one was for rubella and two more. sometimes they repeat the rh if you tested negative for it and STD tests if you're high risk of it.

What's the group b strep test? @bets

besides the 1hr I had to get the 3hr because I didn't pass and my Ob ordered another test to be sure and well I ended up having Gestational diabetes. also they did the group B strep test and nst (nonstress test) on the baby. they checked for anemia. and I get an ultrasound on Tuesday for third trimester. those are the ones they've done after.

@bets, girl I pray I pass lol they told me if I want to eat I can have bacon and eggs that's it and water but I think I'll just have water and just go like without eating and see how it goes...is there any more test after that? Like for anything? They already did my drown syndrome an the other things test lol

I did mine on thursday. my dr said I could have one egg when I first wake up but nothing to eat or drink an hour before you drink it. also it tastes way better if its chilled. I had the fruit punch one and it actually tasted good to me lol

yes the 3hr you have to be fasting for the 1hr sometimes they let you eat they just say no sugars. But if you want to go fasting, its up to you. Maybe it'll even help more. Hopefully you pass, the 3hr is soooo long lol

@their.bomb.ass.mom, whooaaa that's crazy! They told me nothing an hour before and I believe they said the one hour test I hope it's nothing crazy when I get there lol

@bets, I heard the drinks are nasty ? And I hope I don't fail than! Lol I made my apt at 9am that way it won't be that hard since I don't have to eat bcus now when I wake up I usually don't eat until after an hour of being up bcus I don't have appetite right away

Good luck, and it also depends what test you have to take. For mine I was told nothing in my mouth past midnight or the day of the test, not even water. I had the 3 hour test.

the three hour one sucks! & if you fail your 1hr once you have to take it

don't eat anything with sugars, and drink lots of water :-)
