Hey mamas... I'm doing some research on safe cosleeping but read that if you're bottle feeding, you should never cosleep. Dove is bottle fed, but I'd really like to cosleep. We tried it last night and she slept better and longer, but after reading this I'm afraid to do it again tonight. Thoughts?
@melodysmommy585, thank you for that... I feel better about it! She's in bed next to me now. Hopefully it goes well
I cosleep with my daughter and I love waking up to her snuggles, however its a bad habit that's hard to break as they get older. I used to be so paranoid about sids but so long as you don't move a lot and keep the blanket low its not so scary.
I have three kids and co slept with all of them still doing it with my 4 month old ,his doctor said it was because of the soft bed and or a heavy sleeper ,I have three kids I'm no where near a heavy sleeper a pin drop will wake me up
I don't think its that I wake up instantly either way bottle or breastfeeding so who knows but its all up to you
keep your baby near you head as in lay baby up higher that's what I used to do with my oldest and I was always near the wall and slept a few inches away for him but close enough to listen to his breathing sense I was so paranoid
We use blankets and my son sleeps on his belly. Me and my son share a blanket.
@camjmom, @des_a_rayy @des_a_rayy @their.bomb.ass.mom @mrsmoore @izzyd @aek91 @arians_mommy. @nichole8790 thank you all for your comments! I'm not sure why being bottle fed matters... maybe you wake up more easily if you're breastfeeding? We're taking all other precautions... put the bed against the wall, only have a fitted sheet, dressing baby and mom warmly enough so we don't need blankets and I'm only using 1 pillow for my head. I'm still a bit nervous about it, but think it should be okay.
I co sleep but I pump. He drinks from a bottle but with breast milk in is and he seems fine
I have been cosleeping with my daughter for 5 1/2 months & she is formula fed. she's now become independent and likes sleeping on her own, some nights .
It's honestly your decision 100%, my daughter was bottle fed and we co-slept, it only lasted a few days and I quit for my own reasons. But to me it doesn't seem like being bottle or breastfed has anything to do with co-sleeping besides it's more convenient.
Do what you think is best. Youll read postive and negatives for anything but only you know whats best for your child. Trust your instincts (:
I cosleep and have since day one with no problems. But I also breastfeed

Do these exist and work? My SO is scared of rolling over on baby if we cosleep, but I really want to cosleep.
I'm reading reviews on bottles && getting a little worried. . I didn't know baby's have to "latch" on to a bottle.. I thought a bottle was a bottle.. I got the avent bottles that I really wanted && someone also gave me the mam bottled. I want to buy more avent because I only have 10 bottles total. but I don't want to buy it && the baby rejects it. what do you guys think?
Opinions, please! What brand of bottles do yall mamas perfer? I'm a breastfeeding expert but with our baby on the way I plan to use only a bottles and there's so many to choose from!

What bottles do y'all recommend if I'm going to be breastfeeding but also using the bottles for my breast milk? I found these but want to see what y'all use. Sorry I'm a FTM don't know much😁
What do y'all think is worse? Being hooked on the paci or bottle?
no problem !
