So my brother has a 2 year old and newborn. They were here for thanksgiving and his wife was so tired so I said maybe he should let her have a break and feed the baby. He said no we are a "traditional family" she takes care of the kids and I work and provide. He doesn't even change diapers! So I asked him what he does with the kids. He says he plays and disciplines. What are everyone's thoughts on this?? I personally think he's wrong...
That's how it is in my home, I breast feed though, and I honestly don't like it when others change her, or bath her or anything cuz they don't know how to do it like I do. My husband will take her so I can shower and eat sometimes, but other then that, I take care of her 24/7 and he works 10/6 lol I hated it at first, but it's made my bond with her stronger then his with her lol so it's his loss
I don't agree with that at all ! The very least he could do was give the baby a bottle . She didn't conceive the kids by herself so why should she have to take care of them by herself in my opinion babies care is something both parents should be involved in
basically sounds like my house. except I discipline as well oh and play he doesn't play. but we don't run our house that way it's just how it's ended up being
I don't agree with it but everyone has a system that works. If it works for them, then I guess that's good. But if she doesn't speak up and say something, she's gonna always be tired. She should just leave for the day and show him what it's like to do her job.
so when his work day is over he is done for the day...her day would never be over bc a mother's work is never finished. :/
I don't agree with that at all, both should share equal responsibility
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
we take on gender rolls for the most part but neither of us is above crossing to the other side if one of us needs the help. that's what husbands and wives do.
