my son is a month old today!! But as I'm getting ready to go back to work soon the topic of binkies has came up.. He's been using me for milkies and binkie so when I leave for a few hours my mom gives him bottles of bm but constantly wants to suck so she wants me to give binkies cause it'll help soothe him when I'm away. I personally don't want to give binkies.. But should I to make it easier for her to watch him while I'm away?

he may become more dependent on it if he has it more often.. I personally don't want to do the whole binkie thing cause it'll be harder to break them of the habit later.. not to mention I do t want all his pics to have it in his mouth.. also messes up their growth plates when teeth start cutting

You have to do what's best for you everyone will have an opinion. I gave my two older kids one and broke them at 3 months and their teeth are fine I give my one month old one also and hopefully it won't be hard to break. If you're against it you may want to find a way that mom will be able too sooth baby!
