While I was up all bleary eyed, I realized I'm actually comfortable with the idea of a newborn! 😄 It's been 9 years, but babies don't really change like cars or computers. The gadgets available changed drastically since 2006--wipe warmers are digitized; bouncy sets have a million toys and practically babysit; and EVERYTHING now either talks, has video, or is ergonomically something lol--but Ajani will be a little muffin who needs his parents more than those things, just like Brooklyn (and all other babies). I do believe I've got this.

I'm in the same boat you are, my son is 8. The thought of starting over is terrifying especially with twins, but... like you said, a baby is a baby is a baby. We did it once, we can do it again. I feel old when I say, "They didn't have that when Keegan was born". Haha. We got this!!!

@dontberidiculous, YES! I've been checking out some baby items this week (as much as I want to wait, I cannot keep procrastinating and we're starting from NOTHING) & it's like WHEN DID THIS BECOME A THING?! But it's such fun too.

It's such a cool experience. This will be my last pregnancy since I got 2 for 1 and it makes me sad. I have to cherish every single moment. And girl, start shopping!! It's so much fun!!!

@dontberidiculous, I'm heading out again today with my lists lol Our daughter LOVES shopping for her little Bubba. Our nieces and nephews are excited too. I just can't believe we went from one kid to SIX in the span of six months! 😂 It's gonna be such fun tho, and we have one at almost every stage.

Haha, bunch of nosey suckers. I can't even imagine saying a single word to anybody about their personal choices. BUT, I live in Utah, I'm used to seeing 7 kids in most families. I usually only wonder how the parents stay sane. Most of them thrive in large families though. It's just NBD around here.
