In need of mommy advice:...my 5 day old daughter makes it seem like she can't sleep unless I'm holding her. any advice on how to break her from this habit?

Yes mine was like that too. For weeks they are just a little young to do anything about it and someone said to me the house work will still be there. And I just rolled my eye but I wish I would have enjoyed it more bc he doesn't cuddle the same. But try swaddling maybe? I tried to fix it when he was really little but I felt awful when he cried 😫
Try swaddling her. It could be because she's not used to being out in the big world yet
I've tried wrapping her up tightly that doesn't work but I'm going to try the shirt and see if that works thanks @mommytobabyjosiah
I enjoy it its just I can't get anything done because I'm holding her all day. I've tried to put her in her swing, and bouncer but it like she knows when I'm not around lol its the something at night she won't sleep in her bassinet @hamman13
Holding her tightly wrapped in a blanket until she gets to sleep and then lay her down and if that doesn't work try putting one of your shirts near her so she still can smell your scent
She young right now that's normal for that age I wouldn't worry abt it right now
im having the same issues.. its fine all day, but at 2 am its not so great.
