Why do people that weren't induced act like they are better than those who want to be induced. Like get the fuck over…

I'm not trying to offend people but a lot of people come off like they are better because they don't want to be induced or because they didn't have an epidural.

@mariahabigael, I get judged all the time because with my first I was in labor for 18 days my water wouldn't break so I was induced at 39 weeks and this go around if had so many issues my doctor thinks it would be best if I'm induced at 39 weeks again so I said OK. there are just to many people out there that think induction is a horrible thing. now I understand that if you are trying to induce yourself before you are full term that's stupid baby isn't ready but other then that there is nothing wrong

I think they are just worried it is a trend to take your baby out whenever you want because you can? Some people really need medical intervention, but lots come off as selfish or lazy. I mean I really don't know as I haven't replied to those posts or even had a baby yet, but I agree with you no one is better than others, just seeing the other side of things 😌

Yeah like if your full term people should just let you make your own decision and not judge you for it @lilleeandbrantley

@mariahabigael, I'm getting judged now because I'm 37 weeks and my ob said to start trying natural ways to help her along. we know that there is a big possibility I won't make it another 12 days and my ob says 37 weeks is full term.

I don't think people mean to come off judgemental about it.. like my sister in law made them induce her on her 40 week mark.. and she complains all the time because she had to have an "emergency" csection I explained that if she would have let ellie come on her own she might have been able to avoid the csection. and she got mad at me saying that I'm just trying to act like I'm better than her because I'm refusing all of that... so maybe you are just taking it that way??? I know some people are ridiculously judgemental about it, but most really aren't.. sorry you're feeling judged :(

@tahtahme, yeah if you're full term and you're ready to have him there's nothing wrong with that. It's not selfish. And how is it lazy to have your baby when they are full term. I'm sorry I'm not going 41 weeks and having a 10 lb baby lol as soon as my dr says it's okay then it's ok and that's my decision and I'm tired of people judging others for it.

fb is nothing but drama. which is why I got rid of it lol

everyone wants to feel entitled or powerful, always finding ways to be above someone else. they need to do this to fill some insecurity or void inside themselves, don't let it get to you. its stupid if you ask me. we are all just as strong as the next mother...vaginal birth or cesarean, induced or not, all natural or epidural. sheesh!

I think you are being really sensitive. you are attacking me and I am being honest some people have no medical need and still do it, and I think those are usually the people who are "attacked". I already admitted there are definitely situations where people need to be induced or have surgery etc. You don't have to be angry at me...again I have never even talked to anyone or had a baby before.
