I have a question when is it OK to try and transition off of formula my son is 11 months and will be 1 on Jan 6th he will only drink a couple ounces of formula throughout the day but he doesn't seem like he wants formula

I got him one of those Playtex ones with the soft spout but he doesn't like it I thought he would since he likes the Playtex bottles. yeah I got what you are saying I'm deff gonna give them a call when I get him down. thank you so much for the info @aek91
what kind of sippy cup did you get him? with my older boys I used Gerber ones with a hard spout they liked those Kaine didnt so I got him soft spout ones also to transition I started of with a couple of oz of milk & mixed 4 ozs of formula & just kept upping the milk weekly until it was just regular milk if you get what I'm saying. but def ask your doctor
Definitely ask your dr but I was also told that when I went to transition my daughter to milk I should get organic milk
yeah that's what I want cause I want him.off formula and bottles and binky at a year but not sure how to transition from formula to regular milk and he don't like the sippy cup I got him.so gotta try and find one he likes any suggestions on sippy cups @aek91
with my other kids I started transitioning them early so that by a year they were already fully on milk

I would call your doctor first but I give kaine milk once in a while just to get him tummy used to it
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
I think I'm going to do breastfeeding and see how he attaches to me & if not I'm going to put him on breastmilk formula.

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
So my son has recently switched formula, due to him being colicky.. the pediatrician gave us similac alimentum formula to try for a week.. this happend on Thursday, it’s now Monday he is better BUT the smell 🤢 #ohmygoshh it smells horrible & he has been spitting some milk out after each feeding... when he burbs he gags, and I don’t blame him... I hope they can give him another formula with the same affect but better smell cause I can tell he isn’t liking the smell or taste of it... he’s also eat...
***NEED FORMULA ADVICE*** I brought Waylon to the doctors. He has been spitting up a lot. Because of this, he is loosing weight. His doctor suggest I try a formula mixed with breastmilk. Something specifically made for spiting up. And he said maybe something with rice or cereal in it. I need advice. What brands did you use. What worked best. Last time I used formula, it was for my now 5 year old. I just used enfamil. Nothing special bc he didn't spit up or have allergies or anything. I exclusive...
