If it continues, ask your dr. Could be a UTI or kidney infection.

I know what a UTI feels like and I don't think it's a kidney infection. It really only hurts on my left side. @mommabird

Yeah most likely just swelling/pain associated with pregnancy. That's about when I start getting my back pain but it comes and goes. If it continues is when I would ask a professional since a kidney infection will start off feeling just like a back ache and will only be on one side if you only have stones on one side. A UTI can also make the kidneys flare up with no symptoms to the urethra so it's tricky to say without tests.

I'm sorry, back pain is a bitch. My midwife told me to use a heating pad on low setting and take a warm bath. That and Tylenol helped the worst of it. Good luck!
