RANT!
Why is it people get mad when you ask a simple question?! I post on fb asking how old people pierced there babies ears because a lot of my family is on there and someone lectured Me saying I'm stupid if I do that and it's intentionally putting my baby in pain! No! I'm piercing her ears when she's little so she doesn't yank them out if I do it to late!!!

Do you girl. the only reason I'm gona wait for my baby girl to get hers is because I've seen how excited little girls get waiting for that milestone. Idk I remember being so thrilled for it at age 7 when I was aware of what was happening lol ya know ? It could be a more treasured experience for them a lil older.
I'm more than likely getting my daughters done either for her first birthday or maybe her second, not for any real reason, but we just are choosing to wait. Plus I was going to get them done at 2 months and completely forgot, 😐 then by that time she was touching her ears and I'd rather her not yank on them. I will admit I've seen people get their child's ears pierced in the mall and their sad faces killed me, but they forgot about it quickly, kinda like shots! No one is wrong or right for waiting or not. It's entirely up to you.

it's your baby.....I got mine done at 8 months and did my daughter's at 8 months. I think its up to the mommy.

The earlier the better lol the baby cries for 5 seconds and forgets about it . Once their older it can bother them more and you may have more issues with them . I got my ears pierced when I was 6 weeks and my sister pierced all her daughters' ears at around the same time and if I have a girl I'm doing the same . It's totally safe and even beneficial
I do know that when you get their ears pierced really early, they grow and the piercings stay really low on their adult ears. That's the only reason I would wait
and I respect that, your child your decision @nikkisummers I just don't like that I got lectured from a woman who doesn't even like just for asking about it.
My mom did mine when I was a baby and I don't remember it very well which is a good thing and when I got my second pierced when I was older and they kept itching and I ended up getting it infected
I waited until my daughter was old enough to tell me that she wants them. And I explained to her that they would hurt! She got them down about a month ago at 2 years old
I just don't see why people get so offended about everything someone posts @babyontiveros
Their stupid of their own opinion and your opinion is the same as mine so I'm with you on this one
this reminds me of circumcision...to me it's the same. it's way less tramatic when you do it as an infant. it's a decision only you can make and it won't be wrong because your her mama!
