It doesn't have to be ammonia free just needs to be in a ventilated area bc some mommies are sensitive to smells. I actually have been doing hair for 15 years and this is my 3 baby and I change my hair color every month and doctors say it's ok. Good luck @dae

you can dye your hair after the first trimester, it just has to be ammonia free and done in a well ventilated area
