What breast pumps do people recommend? X

Ohk.. perhaps jus a weird and funny question .. but why we actually need breast bump if you do plan to have breast feed ur babies .. @julie-louise @polisha0311

Ha ha let's say u wanna go shower or have a sleep at night - u can express some milk beforehand and leave it in the fridge for your OH to get up at night :) xx @sairainbow

Or u might have too much milk and so your boobs don't hurt u have to express xx

I just think it's easier with the pump

also alot of people don't feel comfortable these days to breastfeed in public as some people don't like seeing it... also its nice for the dad's to be involved... there are many many good reasons to express. 👍

@vic22, that's me. I know damn straight if I got so much as 1 disdainful look I'd be marching over to yell coz I'm not one of those people who keeps their mouth shut lol so it's best if I don't feed in public. I bought a manual tommee tippee pump for those occasions. Also my mom wants to help out and be involved so it solves that problem if I pump too x

@sairainbow, It's a valid question but like most ladies on here my mum and family want to help out and have the bonding experience of feeding. I also don't want to breast feed in public as I know there are people out there that don't like and will cause a scene. @winterbaby95 thank you a lot of people seem to like tommee tippe :) xxx

Yeah, my mum and sister want to help do some feeds too xD And also my OH can do some if he wants xD Awe hun, I'm going to do it in public but use a scarf or something to cover myself up :) I don't mind showing my breasts etc in front of family or friends...I just think it will be awkward in front of strangers :) Oh and let them have a problem lol! It's a baby eating! They have every right to xD :) @julie-louise xx

@winterbaby95, hah well I like your strong mindedness. I would do it in public but I don't want people saying something and me interrupting her feeding because I need to deal with them. Haha yeah my hubby wants to be able to do it too. I want more breast than bottle but I'm sure everyone will want there chance to help at the beginning X

At first I felt uncomfortable about feeding my LB in public but no way was I going to let him cry for other people's sake. Popped his blanket over and your ready to go 😀. If people then went out of there way to say something then they would definitely get a mouth full! There is a lot of places that will have signs that say they are breastfeeding friendly (not many though, should be more) so u don't feel as bad. If u go anywhere for food you can always tell them you intend to breastfeed so can they seat you in a booth/corner table. We live in a world where people are too bloody opinionated! You do whatever is best for you and your baby at the time @julie-louise xx

I got the Tommee Tippee electric pump! I want to breast feed but then I want to be able to express so that OH can feed baby too, help with his bonding with baby xxx

I have just bought a tommee tippee electric pump :) thanks for the advice everyone. Only cost me £30 because it was an unwanted gift :) never used. So happy X
