Help plz. Any advice or info on 3 hour glucose test!?? I've never had to do it with my other pregnancies.. And have to next week!! ☹️ also how bad is it to have Gestational diabetes if I do have it?

Here if you need me @southernmama4. And just so you know people do pass. I failed my 1 hour with my first pregnancy and passed the 3.
I have no idea I swear they fail everyone and make them do it just to do it 😩

Ugh.. Girl I got sick with the one hour test so not looking forward to it! Lol I wonder why ppl fail the one hour & pass the three? The nurse said mine was high (158) & I'm so scared Bc I've gained more weight this time.. Thx for the info @mimiz :)
The drink on an empty stomach was the worst for me. I do have GD this time around and it's not terrible. Everything needs to be in moderation and you have to increase your daily intake of protein. I think the most exciting part was that cheese didn't count as a carb it counted as a protein. The only good news is at least in PA that you get extra ultrasounds to check on growth.
I had to do the 3 hour and it turned out fine. my doctor said its not uncommon to fail the 1 hour and pass the 3 hour
I had the test I ended up passing I mean the only bad part is fasting and going hours on an empty stomach and pretty much sugar water I felt so uncomfortable at the time but it wears off fast when you're done
