has there been any mommies that gave their baby's a pacifier and it affect breast feeding ? Wasn't planning on giving my baby one but I gave in and just gave him a pacifier. now I'm just wondering if I'll regret it due to it causing latching problems ?

I did at about two weeks. No latching probs .. Every baby is different though.

the hospital here doesn't introduce binkies til they have accustomed to latching. so if he's been latching well, shouldn't be a problem :)

I did at 3 weeks but till this day she hates it. However I never noticed any problems. Every baby is diff and I think u should give only when really really needed. Babies do need to suck even when not eating

@mylittleprincess yeah he latches just fine.he's just been fussy cause he wants to suck on something but I obviously can't have him on my boob 24/7 @kibella22 yeah I don't plan to use it unless really necessary.I took it away a little after I wrote this post cause I'm still a little paranoid lol he's still fighting his sleep but isn't even hungry

@xolovingisaiah, yeah I think that would be kinda uncomfortable lol. hopefully the little cutie gets some sleep soon. :)

One thing I have learned is that you need to do what works out for you. If you guys don't have latching problems I say try it... I usually give my baby the soothies and she likes them sometimes.there are pacis that also resemble the natural feel of a nipple u might want to look into those.
