I cringe every time I tell someone my sons name. I absolutely hate it & am only doing it because my boyfriend wants him to be the third generation. I'm just worn out from arguing with him over it. A mom shouldn't HATE telling people her sons name because she doesn't like a single thing about it. I was never able to get excited about naming my son because I knew I wouldn't have a choice. Pisses me off.

Don't do it, this is literally a life decision. I get he's being persistent, but you should be more. No way should you hate your baby's name

What's the name? and My side of the family goes by our middle name:) My name is Casey and I go by Brooke.. so maybe that could be a compromise? He can keep the name and be a third generation but he would go by his middle name?:)

@vinnysmomma, it's so irritating. His family is also pressuring me to do it. I just want to keep the peace because I don't need to be any more upset & stressed than what I already am. My boyfriend doesn't understand it at all

@maceysmommy, his name is Daniel Thomas. Both Daniel AND Thomas are both super common and overused names in his family & I really despise both of them. The only thing I'm even remotely okay with is having his nickname as "Tripp" (triple). But even then, everyone looks at me like I'm crazy until I explain to them what it means. Plus I don't want ANYONE calling my son by his actual name because I hate it so much, but I know they will because it'll be his legal name
