okay so I have been having contractions and pressure all day today. they come and go. I'll have like 5 or 6 and then I'll go 30 to 40 min without. I got checked yesterday and I'm 3 almost 4cm dilated. my water hasn't broken but when should I go get checked? I'm just in too much pain when they come. and I can't walk for too long either bc the pressure becomes unbearable. H E L P
I've done a couple. but I haven't got all of them. they last about a min sometimes a little over. they are still pretty scattered but like I said I've had them basically all day long. @kmally
I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow I just don't know if I should go or bare with what I'm feeling. @kmally
i say go my water didnt break an it never broke the doctor had to break mine.
I just don't want to go if it's nothing.. but my mom was if you've been in pain all day it's gotta mean something. I just don't know, my water broke with my first didn't have contractions until it was time to push. this time around I just have contractions and pressure all day? @braylinsmommy
Since you're still a little early I would go in to be safe.

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
When you go for the glucose test do they check the baby's heartbeat, your weight, and blood pressure too?
Well I have news. My blood pressure was high today at my doctors appointment and they checked me. Said I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced! I'm at L&D to be monitored, if my blood pressure doesn't go down, I'll be induced. If it goes down, I'll be going home. But 2cm and 70% effaced?! WOOHOO! Just so grateful to make progress!
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
Personally, I would go in.
