I feel like it is just easier to not have a baby shower at all then to argue with my husband about having me help him or not. He has enough to do with working 2 jobs and watching our son when I have to work. this is both our son the shower is for our son so I would like to help.
some people really do like baby showers so do it for them too. lol
it is easier but if ur guy is like mine for every item ur baby needs u might be fighting over "do u really need to buy this"... bb showers do help. just dont expect it to be all u wanted because ur obviosly deal with not just ur husbands input. when inlaws make comments like that they make it hard for husband to work with wife. my inlaws would and do still do things like that but i am getting use to just being greatful for the stuff they
do right and the the stuff they dont i ignore it. just let ur man do his thing and the inlaws too...as long as u get some baby shower is better than non. ur only pregnate a few times in life. just get what u can out of this experience.
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
I wish....
There was a place all of us could bring our May babies to play with each other, so our babies could have some great friends, like we all have in this group :)))
Not having no help is the worst ever like no babysitter no nothing like how am I supposed to work and get my son to school 🤔 smh 🤦🏽♀️
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
Mommas who are separated from their childrens dad. If my sons father is to get our son every other Friday-Sunday, but then tells me halfway through the week he can't take him Friday until Saturday due to taking up an optional shift at work, can I legally tell him he either takes him Friday at his ordered time or doesn't get him? He's constantly cancelling whole weekends or taking our son a quarter of his ordered time. He also isn't following the meets on the order. Almost every Sunday he has him...
all I need are more crib bedding, clothes since I have nothing from my first, and 9 oz baby bottles. I have plenty of wipes and diapers up to size 2. I also need a crib mattress and a new carseat(my mother in law threw away the first one we had) so it truly isn't that much.
