@bubblebeck, I saw an awesome mashed potato recipe the other day. I will screen shot it for you. you could pair it with pork chops or steak.

Yes! It locks in the juices. Sometimes I brown sometimes I don't. I love trying new recipes so if you find a good one let me know. :)

It's so good. makes looks of gravy that could be thickened with corn starch or flour. I served it with mashed potatoes, carrots and green beans.

@bubblebeck, did you know if you brown the pot roast first, the flavor is 100x better? :)

Ok. I just made this the other day...so good.

Pot roast (around 3 lbs or so)

one large onion, chopped

one packet onion soup

one 20 oz. Dr. Pepper

salt and pepper

Place onions in bottom of cooker. Salt and pepper Pot Roast. Place on top of onions. Sprinkle packet on roast. Pour soda over roast. Cook on low for 8 hours
