Just a little education about my baby girl and her physical abnormality:

Gastroschesis is a condition where some of her organs are outside her body. In Addisons case her stomach, liver, bowels and part of her intestines are floating in the amniotic fluid. Gastroschesis is almost the same thing as an omphalocele except it's not related to any chromosomal abnormalities, thank god!

This happens because around the twelfth week of pregnancy the baby's organs are all in the umbilical cord and slowly retract back in the stomach as the baby forms. In Addisons case her stomach didnt close so there is a hole where it should have closed up and the organs retracted back.

Once she is born, she will travel from Athens to Atlanta via helicopter or ambulance and will have her own angel team to fix my baby up and we will bring her home in a month or two. :)
