you can get an ultrasound at I think 16 by yourself but idk thats how old I was when I had my 1st daughter lol but they said as soon as you get pregnant you are pretty much amancapatted and are pretty much considered an adult
in Ohio (I lived near canton, I gave birth to my daughter in alliance) you're not considered medically emancipated when you're pregnant under the age of 18. here in alabama where I started my pregnancy and live now, if you're pregnant you're medically emancipated and don't need anyone but yourself to give permission for medical treatment. but in Ohio they still need your parents consent before doing anything to you at the doctors or hospital. now the doctor won't make you bring your parents or anyone back for the ultrasound with you, but they do need your parents consent to do the ultrasound.
I grew up in that area, and moved back there when I was 8 months pregnant at 16/17 so the medical system in Ohio was completely different than here in alabama.
so if you go to the ER, they'll have you sitting in a room waiting until they can get in touch with your parent or guardian so they can get verbal consent to treat you.
no problem! Ohio sucks like that, if you were in almost any other state then february2016 and bets would be right, sort of. but not in Ohio. that's why I moved out of there as soon as I could lol.

no problem. once you're pregnant you're considered independent/emancipated :-)

@butterfly919, there's places that do emergency ones. or depending on how far along one is, l&d will do one if there's a concern.
