So after being so against being induced... Guess what? Doctor said he's inducing me tonight 😫 I'm gonna cry.. This is not what I wanted but I've had no progress!!!! I let him know it's not what I wanted but he told me it's what's best.. Honestly don't know what to think, I'm just torn. I know I may sound dramatic but I felt strongly about not getting induced.

It should be your choice. Some bodies take longer than others. Most of my family delivered past their due date and took awhile to dilate.

@kmally, he said there was a decrease in the amount of the amniotic fluid and baby isn't moving as much.. On top of that I've had 0 progress so he doesn't want to risk it. I just hope everything turns out ok.

I am sweety. and you want your body to do it on its own. I definitely understand your pain on making your own choice. you shouldn't have to be induced if u don't want it. and if I want it my Dr should be able to make me comfortable instead of stressing me out its not good for my daughter. I feel super bad like forreal and if something happens to her I will burn the whole l&d down

Honestly from my point of view, I would be happy with that. I was in the same situation as you with my first child. I was 3 days over due and I didn't get an option. I got put on the list to have a c-section. I had only 12 hours to prepare to meet my little girl. I was terrified and I absolutely did not want a c-section. I cried so much. I wanted to be induced so bad verses the c-section. My doctor told me no. As much as you don't want to be induced, you don't want a c-section either. I would think being induced would be better than getting cut open while awake. :( I have had it done twice and I still get terrified. I may have to have another. Good luck to you and your little family. You'll do great!
