from what Ive read on the topic... if its just here and there that it goes lower, then its normal, called variables, usually caused by them grabbing the cord or being sleeping. as long as he's moving I wouldn't stress too much. maybe call the nurse line ?

It stays like that for about 2 minutes and it continues to do so sometimes but it sounds very very irregular.

I just called L&D and they told me its normal but to call my doctor in the morning.

My sons heart beat goes up and down when he moves and it also depends on time a day. I'm on bed rest at the hospital and they check his heart beat twice a day. In the morning it's pretty consistent and easy to find him but in the evenings the rate changes and he is loving all over the place.
