When people tell me to call my dr it kind of confuses me because my Drs office closes at 5 so like…

They have an on call number. They usually have it on their voice recording.

what about l&d you should be able to call them 24/7

I go to the doctor next week so I guess I'll ask him for the number I'm supposed to call in case something happens. I don't need anything I was just curious lol!

My ob office has an on call nurse that can contact the doctor who is on call and give them a heads up before you get to l&d. they will also advise if you need to go to l&d or if you should wait.

what if I go in labor and my dr isn't on call ! I don't trust anyone else

My doctor gave me his personal number I text him or can call him at any time... Ask your doctor if they have a text able number? Or patient line for after hours

most offices have someone on call and an answering service if someone calls the number after hours if not call your local L&D where your delivering
