Off topic, but anyone live in Minnesota? I think that's where we wanna go when we are able to next year. Do you enjoy it? I'm so nervous to start over and want to make sure my babies will be okay. (my husband and I getting jobs, etc) (more specifically brownsdale area)

My best friend lives there :) it seems like it depends on where you go. The only thing I know that she's complained of is cost of living (she's in Minneapolis).

I live in Minnesota the cost of living is fair but a lot cheaper than California lol the cost of living depends on where you live. Bigger towns are more expensive but I'm guessing it Will be cheap compared to California prices! I live in a small town n pay 615 for a 2 bedroom apartment but my sister in law lives in a bigger town near Minneapolis and pays 900 for her 2 bedroom! We have good schools everywhere but as for jobs it depends on where you live, and what you do for a living! There are more opportunities in bigger towns. I would say one of the downfalls is the long winters but if you are ok with that your family will be fine.

In Des Moines, the cost of living is about the same as Minneapolis then, we're planning on moving on the border of Minnesota and Iowa so it's a smaller town, but I looked up schools and all of that and I liked the area (from what I've read) lol job wise I have no clue what I'm going to do but we're hoping my husband can move out there 6 months prior so there won't be a gap in income @littlebear16 . thank you for your advice!

I'm in Minnesota. It's a nice place to live at times but we hate the winters. We're moving down to South Carolina, which is where he used to be stationed.
