I was told after the water breaks, to take a quick shower and try to be in the hospital within 1 hour because of risk of infections, so no need to wait on contractions :)

my water broke sunday and I went to the hospital and they kept me. my baby came out on Thursday. they give you antibiotics so you won't get an infection.

I was in labor for 4 days. I didn't get contraction pains until 9am Thursday.
