I just posted about this because they are telling me either baby is bigger then expected or I'm 2 weeks ahead of where they thought I was @melox_90

no they haven't wich is why I'm mad cuz they say there worried about it yet are doing nothing -_- & I'm due March 8th

@analisa_ag, you could be due early and they should schedule a sono thats really important to keep you informed

Yes! Just posted like last week. Mine is higher, but I have too much amniotic fluid. Baby measured just fine las time. Having another ultrasound on Wednesday and have to talk to a high risk Doctor :(

@bri28, is too much amniotic fluid bad?? what could the results be?

@melox_90, From what I know, could be from gestational diabetes (they just tested me for a third time!) or maybe the babies kidneys aren't functioning right. My doctor couldn't really give me specifics, that's why I'll have to talk to a high risk Doctor after the ultrasound. I know I had more fluid with my first born, water just kept coming out, wouldn't stop. She's perfectly fine tho. We will see.... I'm due January 8

@bri28, ooh i got tested for gestational diabetes just 1 time and everything came out fine... but thats scary 😢😢 i hope everything betters with your baby and hope everything is fine with my buba

this happened to me with my second. I had to much amniotic fluid and baby was measuring to big. At around 35 wks this was mentioned. I was then considered high risk and all my test came back negative on gestational diabetes and babys lungs were working great to. So I was induced due to this. Doctor was also considered because when there's too much fluid the cord can get wrapped around baby's neck. But had a healthy and great delivery. Hope all goes well for you both hun.

@mrsruvalcaba, after your doctor discovered all of this.. at how many weeks did you end up having your baby? and was it c-section or natural birth?

at 38 wks and it was natural but she did warn me that if baby was too big a possible csection was going to be performed but thank God it was natural

sometimes also the sono radiologist might give you an estimated weight tho, I was told that baby was 8 pounds at my 35 wks and when he was born he was 7.4 oz so it's not all accurate

you both will be in my prayers. every time before stepping foot in that specialist office, I said a small prayer, never fails. It def is scary but try not to stress about it either cause stressing in general is not good hun. Positive vibes.

Lol sorry but I feel like doctors don't know what they're touching half the time by guessing that way. A few diff docs told me adam is ATLEAST 8-9 lbs and he was 6 lol
