I'm 20 weeks (21 on Monday) I read online that I'm not supposed to lift anything over 20lbs?? Is this true? I have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter who weighs 32lbs. I pick her up constantly/daily to comfort her/help her on potty/play with her etc.
Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.

I'm afraid my baby girl might be getting too chubby... I love her rolls, but should I worry?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

youd be okay! whatever your use to lifting on an everyday basis then you should be fine:) just dont strain yourself!

its not good to pick up heavy objects, but if you know how to do it its okay I believe. if you geel a strain in your back or stomach your lifting the weight wrong.

Dr told I can lift my 3 almost 4 year old & she's 54 lbs as long as ur not on bed rest or anything like that u can do as u did b4 ur got pregnant
