It's normal. there's alot more blood flow down there so any stimulation will cause a bit of bleeding. unless it's excessive bleeding, and you're not cramping too bad, don't stress it

I doubt the two are related. depending on how far along you are it could be implantation bleeding. or just normal spotting. call ob if you're concerned.
