I applied being pregnant. I actually just received my approval letter.. I also got Medicaid.

I loose medicaid after she is born @aek91 and have to reapply for wic. they said since I don't work they won't give them too me

that's why I'm trying to find somebody that lives here that can help me fill out the form I've been on food stamps since I was 15 it's so hard to get food stamps here I didn't get it till I was almost 7 months

if you get medical then after the baby is born you go down there & report that he/she was born & tell them to add the baby to your case & that you want to apply for food stamps

I wud wait & if they still deny yu they shud give yu a reason...

every state is diff...in sc I was on as soon as I found out I was pregnant... if they deny yu twice yu probably have to wait...

I don't understand your question. I think you're saying for just being pregnant? If so, nope. I had to wait until my baby was actually born.

I've gotten foodstamps in alabama, ohio, and new york, and we are supposed to apply before baby comes. basically if you're pregnant you apply for medicaid, then since you get medicaid you qualify for food stamps.

they don't give food stamps for just bring a mom. @junesmommy15

I don't live there but you have to apply when baby is here.
