I definitely will not be using crib bumpers with my baby! I saw a story on the news that there have been 23 reported infant deaths cause by crib bumpers. Scary!! 😱 stores are even getting to the point where they won't sell them. I used with my first son with no problems but I'm not down to risk that!
question what is the point of a crib bumper im trying to decide if I want to use it.
I know there are a lot of moms in here that are always looking to give advice in regards safety. (Please, no need to be rude) I KNOW CRIB BUMPERS ARE NOT SAFE. However, I got gifted a whole set for my baby from babies r us. (Can't return it, obviously, and really not planning on using it). I'm setting up the crib and playing with the crib bumper, just because. 🤷🏽 ♀ My husband loves the bumper crib and suggested this (see pictures). Never seen anyone using it this way, opinions?!? Also... do you see any other safety concerns or warnings? 🤔
How do you guys feel about bumper pads in cribs? Yay or nay? My mother in law bought us the whole crib set I wanted and now I feel like I want to take back the bumper set which came separately after reading about them being a hazard.
Okayy moms , so how does some of you feel about the crib bumpers ? I used them on my sons crib back then & he slept fine . & I keep reading that they suggest not using them cuz of the higher risk of SIDS. It scares me but also I personally like the bumpers so I'm a little undecided if I wanna use one for when we get Aidens crib set .
anyone else not using bumpers? i have some but i have yet to wash them and put them on the crib i really am considering just not.

I have a mesh one. They can breath but still won't get their little feets stuck

We use the breathable mesh crib liner. Luckily we do because my son always kicks his feet around and would get stuck if we didn't have it there.

mesh bumpers are the best the are breathable so if baby puts their face up against it they can still breathe they are a little more expensive bit worth the money
