I want birth control after my baby & I was thinking about nexplanon but I don't want to gain weight :(

Ugh it's so hard choosing which birth control to go on. They all suck! And gaining weight AFTER pregnancy sounds like the worst thing ever lol

I got the mirena its great it last 5 years, don't gotta worry about taking a pill everyday and I have not gained any weight from it. the con's was I bleed twice a month for 4 months and the strings had to be cut 3 times cause hubby kept getting knicked by them

lol that's understandable. there are so many types my advice stay away from depo it makes u blow up

I got the depo and lost 20lbs but everyone is different. My periods were super irregular so not having a period with the depo was heavenly 🙌

I know a girl that went on depo and gained like 60 lbs so just no I took othro tri cyclen lo and I lost like 40 lbs that's what I'm going on after baby girl is born

I'm gonna get the implant that they put in your arm that last 3 years (not sure what it's called) I haven't heard anything about it making u gain weight but if it does hopefully I won't gain any.

@boymom2_2, yea it's called nexplanon lol I hope it doesn't make people gain weight because that seems like the best choice for me

@ilovebabyjosiah, same here! it's my best option also, I can't do pills cause I'm horrible at remembering to take anything!!
