I'm getting really irritated tonight. its my husbands 21st birthday. and I told him if he gets too drunk he needs to sleep on the couch. because I have our son sleep with is and I dont want him rolling on him. he's good at not moving when he isn't drunk but he has laid on me before when drunk. and everyone freaks out that my baby sleeps with us. I am very careful with where the baby is at. and I wake up very easily when there is movement. and they are all "its not safe" . my mom with all her kids let them sleep with her and my dad. they are just fine. my grandma even did it with all her kids. I did it with my first. Don't tell me what or what not to do with my son please !! please no negative comments. people can say all they want about it being not safe. but my son is very protected around me. I have him lay on my shoulder and have my arm sticking out so that I can't roll over. even tho I dont usually even move from my spot that I've fallen asleep on. sorry this is long.

Well my son doesn't really even cry when he wakes up. he just moves around a lot. only cries when I change him. and I feel more comfortable when he's in bed with me. I can't stand him being in a different bed then me. @mrs.cravens

the only reason why doctors say its dangerous is cause of a few things that have happened with the father rolling on the baby. it doesn't happen very often and usually it is because they've been drinking or were high. I'm sure some weren't . but I still feel more comfortable with him next to me.

so do i. I feel like the mother just knows the baby is there. I don't ever move with her on me. I've gotten so use to it that I can't sleep without her on me lol.

Right? not only that but I feel like its another bonding experience with your child. I watched what my roommate and her babies relationship is like and honestly I feel like she doesn't really care as much about her child. but that's just me I guess. I'm sure other moms are different. but I just see a bigger connection when moms sleep with their babies. @mrs.cravens
