The closest one to me is the one that's 2 hours away and the cheapest package they offer to 25+ weeks is $170. @bets

At first it didn't bother me as much. Like oh okay I'll just tell my dr and she'll tell me when my next ultrasound happens. Then she told me I wouldn't get another one. One thing led to another and I have a new dr but still. I just keep looking up old wives tales and stuff but even before 20 week u/s I had looked up every wives tale I could fine and they all said girl and they all still do and I'm carrying high and everything. But they are just wives tales. @mypregnancy_journey

that's insane! they gave me a second ultrasound just because baby wouldn't show his face. I would of demanded another ultrasound that's messed up 😒

@mypregnancy_journey, nope. I told my first dr and she didn't care. She just said "it happens. We'll find out when it's born! Sometimes it's not even accurate anyways." My new dr seemed almost annoyed by that but still is waiting until 36 weeks to give me another ultrasound :( I mean I'm glad I'll probably find out then but what if my baby is born before then or something. Or idfk. I'm just mad I don't know yet.

and they didn't tell you to go back to check for the gender again?!

I'm in the same boat. The tech was awful anyways and the baby had the umbilical cord between it's legs. I am sorry I know how frustrating it is not to know.

@monilovesautumn, the ultrasound tech at 20 week appointment couldn't give me an answer

@mypregnancy_journey, I had the 6 week one the 13 week chromosomal one (they refused to look for any gender and at that time I didn't know enough to try and see for myself) and the 20 week one where he had no idea. At one point he said girl the. He said boy then he said to just keep two names handy cause he didn't know.

@aubreysmommy, my parents gave me all of my 3 yr old brothers baby stuff but other than that and a small about of gender neutral stuff we've been holding off on buying anything specific. @mommytoalara my husband doesn't want to drive two hours and pay $170 for the 3D ultrasound

Wtf are you serious? Go somewhere else. A 3D place would be able to tell you with no problem. That's so weird she had "no idea" what the gender is.

well after that you should've complained to Dr. and see if they can schedule u for a gender scan. you have every right to let them know that speak up
