so I read up that if u rock ur baby to sleep or allow them to fall alseep on u that it's a really bad habit and that they'll always want that...my son was waking up in the middle of the night (after sleeping through the night since he was 8 weeks) it was random, so I looked up as to why he may be getting up at night and it said if u rock ur baby to sleep then they'll wake up wanting that again...u ladies think that's true?
@thehowtohippie, yes I think he has one tooth trying to come in on the bottum...
@levismama1988, you're welcome could also be teething. Just another cause that disrupts routinesb
@thehowtohippie, thank u...yea he slept through the night for weeks then outta no where started getting up to eat. I thought too may e a growth spurt. then I though maybe I'd end of feeding him to much if I fed him every time he woke up, but I fed him and he didn't get sick or anything...yea I also think it could be dreams and he does squirm alot and I think that wakes him up too...thank u for the information and advice! 😊

Here's the thing with sleeping through the night, some do, some don't. Some do for awhile then stop. In reality NO ONE sleeps a solid 8 hour block of sleep without ever waking up, sometimes dreams wake you, and you go back to sleep. Or you're thirsty and then go back to sleep. You stir slightly wake then go back to sleep. Most adults don't even realize they wake up as often as they do. The difference is when a baby wakes up they need YOU to say hey it's all good go back to sleep. Or give them milk when they're thirsty or hungry. We as adults know okay it's not time to get up and just go back to sleep. Babies don't know what it's a learning curve, in the womb they did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted now they have to learn when to sleep and when to be awake. Some get it in the first weeks and never have an issue others don't learn till they're 3+ some kinda learn then forget it. Nothing you do will create this bad habit
@thehowtohippie, thank u...I enjoy rocking him to sleep cause yea @shortizzie we both enjoy being close to each other ☺. ..
It's not true. You can't create a bad sleeping habit. Just like nursing a baby to sleep doesn't create a bad sleeping habit that they'll always need it to fall asleep. It's just not true
@shortizzie, thank u yea he loves to be rocked...I just wasn't sure what others opinion was on rocking...he likes it so I'll continue lol
@santistevanmommie, yea I thought that too...but sometimes I feel like I'm feeding him too much but my fiance says if he's hungry feed him lol...
I rock my daughter to sleep and she sleeps thru the night. It's just the fact that the wake up and the rocking motion makes them feel better
That's how I've always done it for my daughter and she's healthy her dr loves where her weight is
