nope... it was just really uncomfortable. Like getting checked for dilation but more pressure.

I had it done today. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I'm reeeally hoping it brings on labor!

@brudd330, The midwife puts a finger inside the cervix. She makes a circular, or sweeping, movement with her fingers. The point of it is to separate the sac surrounding your baby from the cervix.

what does that do?
