So, the other night hubby and I were laying in bed talking about the baby etc and all a sudden he brings up that I need to be put on birth control after I have him. It kind of made me mad. We have a 6yo boy and one that'll be here soon. He makes comments every now and than saying he doesn't want anymore and it kind of breaks my heart, of course I don't want to have anther right away but I've never been on bc and I don't wanna start now neither...but it seems my hubby is so indecisive on whether he wants more or not. Sometimes he'll make comments about trying for a girl and other times he's like NO! But I look at it like we're still young (24 & 25) and I'm not ready to just give up not being able to have more kids. Like if it's meant to be it's meant to be and if not than okay. I guess I brought this up cause while I was at the dr yesterday this guys says to his girl "you also need to ask him bout getting your tubes tied" and she just kind of laughed it off. And he said no I'm serious I don't need no more kids....okay well why in the hell does she need to get her tubes tied? Why don't you stop putting your dick in other girls vajayjay, you wouldn't have that problem! But you could tell she didn't wanna. But he made sure he said it loud enough for everyone to hear! It made me so mad!!!

I mean birth controls not permanent...you can always stop taking it if you want another kid. I feel like a husband has the right to request his wife take birth control (or start using condoms) if he doesn't want another kid at the time. It's his life to & he'd be expected to take care of it if you got pregnant again.
The whole tubes tied thing is out of line tho since its permanent. He could ask about it but has no right to push if the girl said no.

@elenasmommy, yea, I do see what your saying. And I agree. It's just I've never been on bc before he's just always pulled out or w.e until we were ready to try for another. I've tried bc after my first son and I always got so sick from it. I just don't wanna have to take it. But than again you're right. He's the only one working and providing for us right now so I can see why. But yea I'm glad he's not asking me to get my tubes tied though.

@haybearsmomma, yea girl I can't take birth control either so my husband and I have agreed to use condoms. It sucks to do that as a married couple but we don't want to have another baby for atleast 5 years. We used the pull out method successfully for 2 years but I told my husband he lost that right because he didn't pull out one night and that's how we ended up with the little one we have now lmao. He broke my trust so now it's condoms cause I'm the one who doesn't want another baby yet.
