somebody decided to dump gin in the dumplings and didn't let it boil I'm due in 2 weeks and am afraid it's going to effect the baby because not all alcohal boils out of food? who does that seriously!!!

It shouldn't affect the baby at all. You're too far along for it to have any long term or short term effects on the fetus. My OB even tells me that from 28 weeks till my due date, I should drink a glass of wine a week to help calm me down. So I don't think eating it will cause any harm!
