so I'm being induced so he will be here next week. he's measuring smaller . I'm 37 weeks but he's measuring 35 weeks . 😔…

omg girl, Im so sorry!! But please know, you are NOT a failure. You are beautifully and wonderfully made and the Lord has given you a huge blessing! You are doing the best you can and are doing a great job at it. And the baby will be fine ☺ Even though he is measuring small, you are still term. Hang in there love, you have my prayers xo

Did they do a ultrasound and seen he was measuring small or just measured your stomach?

because the baby is 2 weeks smaller than he supposed to be .

ultrasound . im high risk so I'm seen by a specialist . he said hr was going to fax that to my OB. @aleisha94

Im trying to figure out what is going to happen with me since I'm 37 weeks and my daughter is measuring 35 why don't they just let him stay in instead of inducing

When you're full term at 40 weeks he will be measuring at 38. Birth before 37 weeks is premature.. he will be fine & so will you 💕 @monilovesautumn

@monilovesautumn, You're not a failure, sometimes things happen and they're outside of our control. If he does end up in the NICU, know that he'll be well taken care of, those nurses are amazing! Prayers ❤️

why do they want to take him out early if he's smaller?

thank you hunny. @sarahemccormick my kids father told me I'm a failure , he told me the reason the baby doesn't have what he needs is because I didn't buy it. he made more than when I was working. almost 15 an hour . I was only making 11 . he hasn't brought him ANYTHING. I'm 9 months and I don't have everything I need . thank god for people on here . or I wouldn't have what I have now

It's not your fault, love. Both my babies measured small. I was induced at 38 weeks with my daughter. My doc said she would thrive better outside of my body and she did. She was perfect. 5lb 5 oz. I'll keep you in my prayers :)

because I'm high risk and I guess they want to take him out before they fear something is wrong . he's been measuring small for awhile now . so , they just want to ensure he's OK . which is fine because I rather have him now and be safe then keep him in and something happens . I'm seeing a specialist so I know he know what's right . he's going to tell my OB this today . because I said him tomorrow. @aleisha94 , @shortizzie , thank you I really hope so I'm scared because I never been induced so idk what to expect . @floress_j , I am ready court. I was just hoping that my water was to burst on its own. not them popping it , I hope he will be OK to go home with me @mrsglover21 , @rebcamdot well I believe you because my daughter had two surgeries and those nurses in the picu were so damn awesome matter fact that whole hospital was awesome!! I loved UCLA in California . if I was still out there I would deliver there .

thank you , yes he's 5lb , 7 oz . now . so by next week he will be most likely 6lb something .

@monilovesautumn, I'm high risk and delivering and being induced to deliver early at UCSF, the UC hospitals are pretty amazing. I'm sure you and your baby will be well taken care of where you are too ❤️

they are pretty good with kids . my daughter always get treated good there. so , I'm crossing my fingers . I have faith. @rebcamdot
