@pteliza13, im not sure if it harms the baby but i waited a week cus i wasnt sure what it was & it had spread to my kidneys i just had to take meds for it & a 24 hr urine specimen

@dollfacenanii, I been getting pains in my right side did you have to go to the hospital for it

Hope all is well !! Uti's are very dangerous to the fetus .. I had one when I first found out I was pregnant & they gave me antibiotics!!!

I'm not bleeding or anything and they said the cramping is probably from the infection

I'm not sure bout the baby but waiting that long is very bad do to it can infect your kidneys. I went into the hospital when I had one because I started having contractions. It was very severe and very dangerous. You need to get a shot of Rocephin. I didn't know I had one till I started having contractions and found out at the hospital.

Well I see them Wednesday and I get the urine test tomorrow what can I do in the mean time till I go in Wednesday baby is still pretty active

I went into preterm labor about a week and a half ago because of a UTI.

Man I get utis with every pregnancy haven't had one yet this time I never know I have them I don't hurt or anything I had a yeast infection with my boy that shit hurt like a bitch

I really wouldn't wait until Wednesday to go in. If your right side is hurting that means the infection has spread to your kidneys. When it spreads to your kidneys, it's in your bloodstream which will directly effect your baby. I've had UTIs far too often and three during this pregnancy. Each time my doctors stressed how important it is to catch UTIs early and she said that if I get pains in my side and she's not available to just go to the ER. There's really nothing you can do to help it other than get going on antibiotics. Not to scare you or anything, it's just so important to get those treated especially while pregnant.
