I'm getting it Thursday! I'm breastfeeding which makes having a period confusing as in when I'll have it, but does anyone think the Nexplanon will affect it more? Cause I'm clueless as to when I'll have my period. 😅

I can't remember exactly how long no more than a month but nothing that same day @queendavis and yes you definitely need to use condoms still! @babylylasmommy

@babylylasmommy, girl remember you need to use condoms still for the next two weeks tho! I felt weird afterwards too but it's just your body adjusting.

ugh I'm nervous I decided to just go for it no time to think about it really n n don't think my bf is interested in condoms now...hopinh its fine cause only been an hour anf already feel weird @mrscruz0530, @queendavis

It was bitter sweet I used to get terrible cramps but stopped once on it but the periods last forever it was more like spotting but still I felt like I was bleeding more than not but they were definitely lighter also the main reason I took it out was because I would get this crazy flesh like discharge literally looked like a big piece of flesh which was actually they shredding of my uterus but only experienced it while on the bc it was hard to see that after having a miscarriage I didn't gain weight or break out or anything but that's my experience with it obviously everyone's body is different I had mine it for about 1 1/2 years

I just got it like a week and a half ago. So far I just felt kind of weird and light headed for the first two days but a few of my friends had that also and it's just your body adjusting to it. Other than that I have had no other symptoms or side effects. My advice is that if you do start experiencing things, give it a month. Your body needs to adjust to the birth control so I would wait a month to see if things change before going and getting it taken out. Because the symptoms may be temporary.
