My son is the same exact way! He eats a 4oz bottle then another 3-4 after that. I've been going crazy. He's 9 weeks and be weighs 12lbs 1oz

@mommyofone, I feel like he's not getting filled up that's why he eats so often .

I felt like that, with advice from a lot of nurses and doctors. I've been giving him 2 separate bottles. I've been giving him 1tsp of cereal in a 2oz bottle, then a seperate bottle of 2oz of straight formula. (Only at night tho) Its been such a help. He sleeps better, is gaining like he should, he's also a lot happier during the day. But I'd talk to your doctor first. My son is healthy and the only thing that the cereal does that I don't like is that sometimes he gets constipated but his formula did that before I even tried the cereal. @mommyofone, I give him cereal bottles bur not so much lately , I plan to start feeding him baby food once he can sit up that will probably help a lot so I've been working a lot with my son such as tummy time & sitting him up on the couch

My son rolls over, holds his bottle and lifts his head pretty good so I didnt think it would hurt him. Do what you think is right, mother instincts usually are right. He's so much more rested in the morning.

Feed baby if he's hungry. Don't let doctors tell you he needs to eat less
