I need to know before she gets here Thursday is it best to lay baby on back or stomach while sleeping ?
@xaviermom1221, omg I'm sorry to hear that thank u so much I will not be putting her on her stomach at all
My aunt lost her baby from putting her to sleep on her stomach. Do not do it, when they sleep on the back they don't throw up because of something to do with how the lungs and Throat is Positioned.. They turn their head side ways when they spit up anyways
Back. My daughter lays on her side now that she's a month though. She has GERD and chokes sometimes in her sleep from acid. I never ever ever suggest stomache
IDC what my sister says she well sleeping on her back thank u so much ladies
@mamashane89, o OK thank u so much I was just worried
She won't choke on her milk. Believe me, I was worried about that too but my baby girl never does. she turns her head to the side when she spits up.
@shortizzie, o OK @floress_j thank u sooooo much
@laurenangel__, OK thank u so much I wanted to know because my sister played her son on his stomach as a newborn and HE just always slept comfortable that way
Laying them on their stomach to sleep can cause them to suffocate. Its safe to do it until they can get themself up on their own.
@jcblake11, @momx2 @mamashane89 @reaganmommy2015 @ilovebeingyourmommy
wouldn't laying them on their back cause them to choke on their milk?
NEVER lay a newborn on it's stomach to sleep or even "just for a while" while he or she is unattended.
On her back. Babies can suffocate while sleeping on their stomachs. At least, they can for the first 6 months or so.
Yeah your suppose to swaddle them and put them on there back in the crib with nothing else in the crib no blankets or bumpers to prevent suffocating they will tell u this in the hospital
