It's supposed to form to the baby's mouth. but it depends on what your baby likes.

My son likes them it's all we have. The flat bottom will allow their tongue to suction to it. And the curve of the top fits to the roof of their mouth. It's a good brand. If baby likes it they have bottles with matching nipples
