personally it scares me because it is a chemical, mimicking the one your body naturally makes, being pumped through you forcing your baby out of you.. it's not natural and I really want my birth to be as natural as possible.
I was induced with my first unfortunately I stopped dilating after I got the epidural at 4.5 cm and had an emergency c-section after 24hours labor.... the inducing was no big deal really my contractions hurt bad but it wasn't scarry or anything and when I had to be reopened thanks to an infection that hurt waaaaay waaay worse then my contractions did...
I was induced on both my kids and I had them @ 37 1/2 wks cause my dr was afraid they were already so big if I waited I wouldn't be able to have a vaginal delivery. At least with the induction I could have an epidural sooner and didn't have to go through so much pain. I plan on doing the same for this one. I'd love to do it natural but I don't want to go through the pain. I'm a wuss

I guess cause the contractions are more painful. which I think whether your being induced or not. contractions are super painful lol

My mom said I should try not to be induced just because it makes labor more painful and contractions terrible.
