I need to rant dude. I'm pregnant and working full time. Okay cool that doesn't bother me it's no big deal. What bothers me is that we let my boyfriends brother stay with us to "help us out", he just got a job and he works full time too. I feel like he just doesn't help at all. He gives me $400 but that covers my rent. I have electric THAT HE USES, HIS phone on MY plan(that I'm behind on), I have gas that he uses by asking me for rides, he takes my boyfriends cigarettes then he runs out. He sleeps on my couch so i have to stay in my room or my daughters room..Let me remind you that he also gets SSI at the first of the month &I gets paid weekly. Am I crazy for asking for more fucking help? Like I stress 24/7 over this shit. Everyone's always like oh it will be fine it will work out. NO like my house is for my family & I'm sick and tired of doing everything by myself !!!!

I have to pay some of the rent too, but I'm just saying gas electric food is what he uses as well. that's not all the bills we have, but those and his phone that he doesn't pay for.
My boyfriend got laid off he has a interview somewhere else the first. But I see where you guys are coming from, the 400 helps with the bills for sure. But just the extra things we need toilet paper paper towels food dish soap etc comes from me. I just wish he could help more when needed instead of just at once. If that makes sense.b
It depends on how much you pay on bills a month in total. $400 isn't bad- about what a roomate would pay. He sleeps on a couch, so he isn't really even your roommate. Then again, if he's making that much off everything else, he could probably afford his own place. He should help clean though, if he doesn't.
If hes paying your rent, that leaves u w the electric bill and gas for the car? Doesnt seem that bad to me...
you have to ask yourself if you didn't have his $400 if you would be fine. if so then it's not really much help if you would not be hurting without it. it's not worth the stress for you and the baby. Put it to him like this "do you know how much 1st month rent+ deposit+ utility deposit +and monthly utilities somewhere else is not to mention food." He will either help more or struggle on his own.

He may think that the $400 is paying for rent and utilities (extras) being that he is 1 person. You guys need to sit down and discuss a monthly payment that everyone can be happy with. Years ago, I did this with my brother and had him sign a lease agreement on when he would move too

No you're not asking for too much, I don't know his situation as to why he moved into your house, but y'all took him in, he should have the decency to help out more.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
