I was like that. I picked a bebecar pram that comes with a stroller seat too and it's £850. I had it my head from the word go that I wanted that one and had planned to pay it off over my entire pregnancy. My aunt turned around and said she was happy to pay for it. So I said okay cool. Months go by, she doesn't say anything. I reach the half way mark. I mentioned it. She goes "well really it's a bit expensive, can I just pay half". Now I was not annoyed about the fact she was taking back her original offer. Fair enough 850 is a lot. I'm annoyed she left it so long to say something. So I said yes. I went and paid the deposit which was £100. That was September. We hit November and I hadn't heard from her about it. The store called and said if I wanted it delivered from where it's coming from, to their store, I needed to pay £300 by the end of November. So I called her up and she was like "it's a bit last minute I don't have the money". Umm last minute? She'd had months really to get her ass in gear. So I just thought fuck her, and my Nan gave me £150, my mom £50 and I paid the rest to get it delivered. She's been so useless the last 6 months. There is £450 remaining to pay but now I know I can't rely on her I can plan my financials for it. Just so annoyed she kept her mouth shut. I could've put something in place as a back up.

thats not good at all @nashkay wonder what changed her mind?? she must of known the stress it would of caused you and ur partner.. prams are alot of money me and other half has sorted what we need to pay and have given our selfs 2 months to pay the pram off of £600 which works out £300 a month for two months.. your lucky ur mum and nan offerd to pay towards ur pram 😊 my partners mum is buying our cot id be mortified if she let us down but fingers crossed she wont do that unfortunately we dont have any grandparents so that help isnt there for us..

More stress as I've paid for everything myself. My daughters father has not been around during my entire pregnancy. He hasn't spoken to me since the end of August and whenever I've attempted to text him I don't get a reply so I assume he's blocked me 😂 I know my aunts had a lot on, she's got 5 kids etc but she could've let me know just out of courtesy really. I hate relying on people, hence why I had said upfront I'd pay it slowly but she damn well offered. Just annoyed me lol awe that's lovely, I got my nursery furniture on sale in Argos. It's mamas and papas. It should've been £700, reduced to £280 so I snapped it up before it went up again. I've done really well considering it's just me. I got a bunch of stuff in the sales today whilst doing my xmas shopping. All stuff I need as well as some clothes for her. Xx

yea all we need is cot and pram @nashkay and i did it all on my own with my son.. but im lucky thos time to have my partner who is such a good support Xx

It's great you have a partner this time @babyboots in an ideal world so would I but in some selfish ways I'm glad I'm alone. I get to enjoy all the milestones by myself. I don't have to share her lol
