💕LABOR STORY💕
Starting at 7am 11/27/15 I felt very mild contractions, thought nothing of it and went back to sleep. I woke up again at 11 am still feeling them but very far apart and not that strong so I went about my day. I took a shower, did the laundry, had breakfast, and started playing some video games with my SO. The contractions started to get stronger but still very far apart with no pattern so I didn't bother timing them. At 5:30 my SO left so work so I went to take my daily nap. At this time the contractions are starting to gain a pattern but I can still talk through them and move around so I timed a few and dozed through a lot. Waking at 9pm I still feel fine but they are getting closer together so I start really timing them. SO gets home around 11:00pm and we eat dinner. Well, shortly after dinner the contractions start making my world stop, all I could focus on what that so I tell him to go take a shower so we can head in just in case. We get to the hospital and in triage by 12:30, cervix checked around 1am and I'm already dilated to a 5! I start really focusing on my breathing now and find I can easily get through them, silently! By 2:30 ish am. I'm in a room, by 2:45am my water breaks. No epidural has been given yet.My nurse suggested I lay on my side to help with the pain, well that seemed to kick things in gear and I needed to push, NOW! She checks me and I'm fully dilated, no time for an epidural! It was time to push. 3 contractions later, about 6 pushes, my son was born at 3:01am 11/28/15. 8 1/2 lbs 19 inches long. Due date 12/03/15 and I was scheduled to be induced this Sunday but baby boy had plans of his own 😍

I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
son getting out of car seat
So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small f...
So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation.
Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on .
I hope my fluids stay consistent.
How many of you Mama's to be are getting a push present? I still haven't gotten my last 2 push presents so I plan on looking for a few cheap push presents or 1 expensive push present to make up for the last 2 he didn't get me & this one😁
