Has anyone ever gave birth alone. like no one in the room and no visitors? :/ is it hard?

There's always nurses in & out, doctor too. You'll stay busy. :)

And if not you'll want to rest and there won't be anybody besides nurses to bug you. I actually like the idea of that lol ;-)

When there's nobody with you the nurses will be 10x the support system. They step up and take the place of the people the can't be there/aren't there. They're really wonderful!

I went into preterm labor and was by myself. The nurse stayed with me the whole time. She didn't want me to be alone.

thank you in terrified I will be completely alone. but this helped to make me feel a little relieved.

If you have sufficient funds you can get a doula. They can get expensive though so of you don't have an extra $500-$1500 It's not much of an option.

Like a birth coach, but she's your partner through the whole thing. She supports you, gives you massages, prays with you if you're religious, walks you through birthing techniques, gets you warm or cool rags for your comfort, has essential oils for relaxation, plays your music for you, helps you understand what the nurses and Drs are saying, acts as your advocate when you're in too much pain to get your point across, does anything and everything you need her to basically.

You should atleast have one person.... I wanted to do it alone but when you're in pain you want someone in for corner to be your advocate.... Your mom, aunt, best friend, cousin, atleast one person you trust

Well they don't have to sit there and stare at your privates they can be at your side ... Trust me you want someone in your corner and when you go into labor you are not going to give a hoot about one person seeing your privates
