Any of you ladies have any advice on how I can tell if my dog is pregnant. I know she didn't get out from the time I noticed she was in heat. She was locked in her cage or chained to something in the house so she wasn't bleeding every where. but about 2 days before she went into heat she got out and was gone for at least 20 minutes I thought someone took her she was gone so long. she's been out of heat for about a month now. but I also don't know if she went into heat before I realized she did. which is why I'm asking. but her nipples are still swollen and are beginning to become puffy and hard around them. I need to know because I can't keep her if she is. Even though it breaks my heart. I'm staying with my dad for the next couple months. and I know if she is pregnant then she's probably already half way through her pregnancy(dogs are pregnant for only 9 weeks!) and will be having her puppies around the time I due(1-1-16) and I won't be out of here until at least march. My dad doesn't like my dog any ways and has already told me if she is she's gotta go. Besides that I can't handle a 1.5 year old, a new born, a dog(who is still basically a pup her self. she's almost 1yr) and puppies. PLUS my husband and my self all in one tiny bedroom! help please !!
